On November 6th, I will be running my second full marathon, and my first New York City Marathon!
The last time I ran 26.2 miles, it poured rain the entire time, my phone broke, and a friend had to extract a piece of headphone from my ear with a paperclip. Despite all of this, I crossed the finish line and loved (almost) every minute of it. I am thrilled to be running the New York City Marathon this year to raise money for Top Honors.
Top Honors is an organization that provides free tutoring services to middle school students in New York City. Volunteers work with students weekly to help students improve their skills in math. As an educator, I know how important out of school tutoring is to academic success, and I am excited to support an organization with such a powerful mission.
My goal is to raise $3,500 to support Top Honors' work in New York City. Thank you for supporting this incredible organization!
