On the morning of November 4, 2018, I will set out to conquer my first marathon. I’d always been interested in attempting a marathon but could never get myself over the hump of signing up for one. I always had some excuse about it being too much of a hassle to train or too expensive. But that mindset changed when I overheard a colleague and friend, Mark Berman, discussing how runners can enter the marathon to fundraise for a good cause. What then got me over the finish line of signing up was learning about the charity that Mark is involved in, Top Honors, who I am excited to say I will be running on behalf of this November.
Top Honors is a NYC based non-profit, providing free mathematics tutoring services to underserved middle school students in the New York metro area. For the past 15+ years, Top Honors has provided one-on-one tutoring to students in need a little extra help with critical thinking, an area in which we shouldn’t allow any student to fall behind.
Now I’m asking for your help to get me across the finish line! I’m targeting to raise $4,000+ for Top Honors to help more students gain access to the Top Honors program. This donation will go towards supporting and expanding this awesome organization and will help countless students grow and develop. I’m incredibly grateful to be running on behalf of Top Honors and would welcome any support you can offer! Thanks so much!
