Our TeamThe Top Honors Board of Directors consists of four Ivy League graduates who possess a variety of skills and experiences in both the corporate and not-for-profit world. Glenn Turtel, the company's CEO, also works as a Manager in the Finance Planning & Analysis Group of Edison Schools, where he helps principals and business managers at schools in the Edison system manage their budgets. Evan Turtel, the company's president, serves as a technology consultant in a central engineering role at Scholastic Inc. Top Honors also utilizes knowledgeable advisors to supplement its efforts in particular areas of the program. For example, Top Honors used the expertise of a Columbia Teacher's College student to help train tutors, and received free assistance from Rutgers Law School to file its 501(c)3 application. Top Honors currently has 2 part-time administrators and over 25 active volunteers. |
