Our team meets on a regular basis to keep our operational efforts in check, to discuss ways of maximizing the limited resources we have, and to improve existing protocols. It’s a whole lot of work, and sometimes it involves some crossed arms and hours and hours of giving it all we’ve got, but without fail, by the end of each meeting, we always deliver the best for our students…because they deserve it.

If a tutor goes hang gliding and takes off from a cliff that is 246 m high, what integer could describe the direction of his descent back to land?  

Answer: -246

For those of you with your thinking hats on, yes, this situation has Pythagorean Theorem written all over it (the length of the hand glider’s trajectory and the horizontal distance from the base of the cliff to the landing point).
