Our Unique, Back-To-Basics Curriculum

Our curriculum focuses on these fundamental building blocks of mathematics:

• Arithmetic -- basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Emphasis on speed and conceptual understanding
• Word problems
• Knowing when answers are reasonable
• Basic test-taking skills
• Real-life examples

An assessment test is given to all students in the beginning of the new school year, and serves as the basis for customizing each student’s program around his/her weaknesses and interests. Regular sessions are comprised of weekly ninety minute meetings throughout the school year. Progress and performance are measured regularly and include discussions with parents and teachers.

Top Honors leverages an "EDUTAINMENT" model that incorporates the use of mathematical driven games to motivate and engage students throughout the program. This is a key component that is critical to the program’s success and differentiates Top Honors from other competitors.
